Octoberfest Fundraiser

An Evening of Fun and Fundraising in Lincoln, NE for Octoberfest 2024

On Wednesday, October 23, 2024 Kids’ Chance of Nebraska Board Members, Volunteers, Students and Friends enjoyed Bavarian inspired food and drinks in the warm, inviting atmosphere of Bierhaus Maisschaler to kick off the WCAN Symposium, mingle and support a good cause! We had a great turnout and everyone had the chance to meet with KCOA Student Ambassador Michala Graf, visiting to share her testimonial about how a Kids’ Chance Scholarship helped her reach her dreams. She said “I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude for the warm welcome and support I received from each of you at the event. It was an honor to be a guest speaker and to engage with such a passionate and dedicated group, and I had such a lovely experience getting to speak with and get to know all of you.”

The event helped raise more than $5,000 for Kids’ Chance of Nebraska and is one of our most popular events.
